Senegal’s vision for workforce development hinges on government priorities stipulated in the GHSA action plan of equipping the workforce with essential competencies that support meeting national capacities and standards as articulated in IHR and PVS. OHCEA Senegal is committed to building on the ongoing initiatives of developing a competent pre-service and in-service workforce capable of addressing infectious disease threats. Trainings are aligned with country needs and strengthened to incorporate those key skills and competencies that, based on the latest workforce planning evidence, support a “field-ready” workforce
