One Health Central and Eastern Africa (OHCEA) is a network of 16 universities and 24 institutions in 8 countries across Eastern, Central and Western Africa. Our work, mainly funded through USAID, IDRC and other funders, endeavours to build One Health Workforce and strengthen capacity for biorisk management in the region. At OHCEA, we are very proud of what we do; contributing to building a critical workforce that can handle current and future One Health challenges.
In the last one year (2017), we have grown the network, bringing on board new members and partners.

OHCEA is a network driving transformation, and with our funders and partners, building better workforce through multi-disciplinary field experiential training, curriculum review and program development, faculty development, case competitions, student self-organising clubs and other innovative methods. This is business we have been engaged in consistently since 2010.
Our innovative approaches to training is what makes us stand out and make us relevant to the needs of the labour market.
We have a clear vision of what we want to be – a global leader in One Health approaches and our work is guided by innovation and partnership building. I’m proud of the work we do and give you my personal commitment that we will deliver what we promise and do it innovatively and sustainably.
