After more than a year as Chair of the One Health Central and East Africa (OHCEA) Leadership Summit, Professor Aline Umubyeyi – Dean School of Public Health at University of Rwanda, Professor Frank Mwiine, the Dean of School of Biosecurity, Biotechnical & Laboratory Sciences at Makerere University College of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Resources and Biosecurity.
Professor Frank Mwiine was unanimously voted by his colleagues in the network at the 20th OHCEA Leadership Summit held in Kampala on 22nd November 2019.
Professor Mwiine thanked his colleagues for the confidence they have in him to serve them as their chair and pledged to steer the OHCEA Leadership Summit to even higher heights. Handing over the reins of power, Professor Umubyeyi thanked all the deans for giving her the necessary support that enabled her to successfully complete her term. She thanked the OHCEA Secretariat for providing crucial administrative support to her office and pledged to continue actively supporting OHCEA network growth.
